The Chattanooga RBI League is a baseball and softball program for young men and women of all skill levels aged 13-18. The league is the exclusive Chattanooga affiliate of Major League Baseball’s (MLB) Reviving Baseball in Inner Cities (RBI) initiative. The program is under the direction of the City of Chattanooga Parks and Outdoors.

The RBI program is a sports based youth outreach program designed by MLB to increase interest and participation in baseball and softball, promote greater inclusion of youth with diverse backgrounds, encourage academic achievement, and teach the value of teamwork.

In 2018 the program had approximately 130 young men & women participating in 3 divisions: Boys Junior Division (aged 13-15), Boys Senior Division (aged 16-18), & Girls Softball (aged 15-18).

All participants enjoy a fun and spirited environment that focuses on baseball and softball instruction, as well as teaching foundational life skills. Participants have the opportunity to capitalize on their learned skills through league game situations.

Additionally, there is an advanced/all-star level of play, which provides participants with the opportunity to be selected for the Chattanooga RBI Regional Team. This team will travel and compete in the MLB sponsored RBI Southeast Regional Tournament, with a chance to advance to the RBI World Series.
